15 in '15

It's my annual tradition to write a list of best things that happened throughout the year. I enjoy looking back on these and reflecting upon the great memories.

1. A fun date with my husband to start off the year...seeing a concert with all nostalgic songs.

2. Seeing RENT (even though the guy who played Roger sounded awful...Maureen made up for it), Legally Blonde, and Guys and Dolls with R.L. (my husband also was there for Guys and Dolls). Excited to see In the Heights with her this spring...

3. My trip to NYC for Book Expo America.

4. Seeing "Will" twice in one summer (first time in six years)

5. Seeing Newsies with my husband. The stage musical was better than the movie.

6. Getting to see my BFF three times (twice on her turf, once on mine).

7. My husband getting a new job in August after a long six months.

8. Karaoke night!

9. Meeting one of my online reader friends in person.

10. Getting to spend time with Jen Tucker when she was in town. (And also getting to see Francine LaSala again.)

Jen, Me,  & Francine

11. Making some new friends at work (one of them likes Jane the Virgin and Mindy Project).

12. Some more awesome book acknowledgements from Whitney Dineen, Stephanie Evanovich, Liz and Lisa, and Susie Orman Schnall (and also getting to blurb her novel, The Balance Project)

13. Going with my husband to play laser tag for his birthday. Who cares if we were the oldest people there?!?

At the laser tag place

14. Spending the past six months with the Bravermans.

15. My parents visiting this past November.

There are definitely others I could have included, but then I'd be here all day (and so would you)!

May we all create happy memories to share in 2016!

Happy New Year!
